Worst Job Application ever!

Could this possibly be the worst job application ever? A student applied for a job at the 'National Botanic Garden Of Wales' with the email address 'atleastimnotwelsh@...'! James Kettle, 21, who studies at Pershore Agricultural College (says it all really), also sent his resume to the wrong address.

 

Kettle said he felt like a "right fool", explaining: "I set up the email at school because several Welsh kids were in my year. I forgot it was with my application and didn't mean to be offensive." He had earlier been told in a reply from a manager at the gardens: "It may be prudent to change your email address. It could have a detrimental effect on any career aspirations of working in Wales." I love that manager. That kid is stupid. Good times.

 

It turns out that the above mentioned moron is not alone. Check out the letter below.

 

 

I spent some time googling the issue and it seems there are some real blinders that applicants have submitted. Examples include:

 

"Disabilities: Near-sighted and mildly paranoid"

 

"My studies in psychology thus far have taught me to think progressively and logically, and have also given me invaluable analytic writing skills. Knowledge, to me, seems the noblest ambition."

 

"As a Psychology-Spanish double major and a Neuroscience minor, I possess an acute interest in the internal and external intricacies of relations which is culminated with a passionate desire to embark on a course that encompasses the work of helping improve the lives of those not just at home; but throughout the world."
