Planking is so 2012! The new thing to do is Vadering

Remember back in the days when planking went viral and the social networks exploded with pictures of people lying flat on their faces in all sorts of weird places? Well planking isn’t so hot anymore nowadays and it turns out that there’s a new photo meme that’s taking its place. It’s called Vadering and you better get used to it because it looks like it's going to be around for a while. I must be honest and say that this latest fad is pretty weird and seems to appeal mostly to the geek segment out there.

“Vadering” is obviously a meme where people do Darth Vader’s infamous force choke on other people and because no human has the powers that Darth Vader possesses (or at least none that we know of), we must all resort to Photoshop to actually perform this powerful Force choke hold. As the picture below shows people are taking this stuff pretty seriously.This guy takes Vadering to new heights…literally! He gets major air on his victim here…and he clearly knows it with that smirk on his face.

Perhaps the best recreation of that classic Darth Vader scene from Star Wars was in this hilarious commercial for Spike TV.
