Krige vs Spencer in boxing bout

This headline on News24 got my attention. Apparently former Springbok skipper Corne "aka Captain Corageous" Krige is going to be facing up to Former All Black flyhalf Carlos Spencer in a boxing match. I managed to get hold of a video clip of Spencer boxing and it's worth watching. They say it's going to be a friendly but I still reckon it will be well worth watching.

Cape Town - Former Springbok captain Corné Krige is set to enter the boxing ring with former All Black flyhalf Carlos Spencer.

According to a SuperSport report, Krige will take on Spencer, current backline coach of the Lions, in a “friendly fight” in May this year.

The fight is one of several to take place in a box-and-dine tournament at the Sandton Convention Centre.

In the main fight, Nkullueko Mhlongo will defend his South African junior middleweight title against Bongani Mwelase.

Heavyweights Ruben Groenewald and Elviso Moyo are also expected to be in action.

I came across this video of Carlos Spencer in a boxing match and having seen it I reckon this ain't going to be a walk in the park for Corne.
