Justin Bieber graduates from high school
NEWSDAY reports that Justin Bieber has graduated from high school. Who really cares? The guy has made so much money it's not like he is going to have to get a real job.
The really important question is will he keep his pristine baby faced skin and hair once the little man finally hits puberty and the hormones kick in?
I guess I shouldn't be to harsh on the young man but really we live in a world gone mad.
Apparently he made a point of graduating for his mother who says she is really proud.
So now he's rich, good looking and has a high school diploma!
Pop star Justin Bieber, who turned 18 in March, has graduated high school. "I passed my test -- I'm free!" the singer told the Sydney, Australia, newspaper The Sunday Telegraph."It was hard doing school and work every day," he added.
It was unclear if Bieber, who has said he utilized a tutor, was referring to the General Educational Development (GED) test, the standard exam used for a high-school equivalency diploma.
Bieber -- who was signed to a music label at 14 and had his first hit record the following year -- told the paper that finishing his high school education "was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her."
It would not have been his preference, he admitted. "This kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life," he said. "I've been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I'm really not into that stuff. I like to be out there."
While the notion of living a normal teenage life has crossed his mind, he said, he realizes that, "If I [were] in Canada, I'd be wishing I was here doing all this stuff. I'm really happy to be where I am and I wouldn't trade it for the world."
Bieber recently tweeted that he was releasing his new single, "Turn to You," this week ahead of Mother's Day as a thank you to mom Pattie Mallette. "The proceeds will go to help other single moms," he wrote.
