Pigeon flies in the face of science

We all know that Pigeon Navigation is one of those unsolved mysteries that has eluded mankind for ever. I came across an interesting article on News24 where a group of scientists in Vienna have admitted that after years and years of research they still can't figure out how the little pigeons do it.

Furthermore the one scientist actually admits he doubts he will be able to solve this mystery in his lifetime. I think thats a good thing....let the little pigeons keep their little secret.
