Google Street View of The Amazon Basin

This is really cool. Google have sent their Street View team to the Amazon basin – and images from that trip are are now being made available on Google Maps. Chances are you won't be using it to find directions but there is some really amazing footage which is well worth taking a look at. Even cooler, they’ve left the camera equipment with residents of the region, who will collect even more photos in the months to come.
