It’s Tuesday morning and I needed a laugh so I went and tracked down my two favourite Ben Stiller movie scenes. Do yourself a favour and watch these two scenes before you start work this morning.The first is a fabulous scene from the comedy Tropic Thunder. Tropic Thunder is a action comedy film written, produced, and directed by none other than Ben Stiller himself, and starring himself. The movie has a great cast including Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black. The main plot revolves around a group of self centered idiot actors who are making a fictional Vietnam War film. When their frustrated director decides to drop them in the middle of a jungle, they are forced to rely on their acting skills in order to survive the real action and danger. This is a fabulous scene.
This is an awesome scene from Zoolander. Ben Stiller co-wrote, directed, and stars in this spoof of the fashion industry that began as a short skit for the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards. Stiller is Derek Zoolander, an intellectually challenged but bone structure-blessed male model who’s despondent after being eclipsed in popularity by an equally vacuous rival, Hansel (Owen Wilson).
